Performance in Lighting purchased 100% of the Belgian group Ed-Dis (www.ed-dis.com), present on the market with the production, assembly and distribution of a wide range of lighting products, both under its own brand name (Lumis) and built for primary international companies. Ed-Dis is the exclusive distributor of General Electric products and lamps, and also counts RZB, Aldabra and Securlite among its partners.

Three cheers for the company SBP! They’ve managed to satisfy both height restrictions set by the city administration for the stadium and lighting uniformity and anti-glare standards which are necessary for the game of football. Thirdly, they’ve also achieved the right level of lighting for television broadcasting. Thanks to the collaboration with the design studio Aartil, only 136 floodlights were used – instead of the 170 fixtures calculated during the preliminary planning phase

Luci e ombre insieme, per un nuovo concetto di verde come spazio protetto dall’alto valore emozionale. One of the main goals of the Performance in Lighting group is the desire to create training and updating opportunities for professionals in the lighting engineering sector. For this reason, PiL has organized some free of charge courses to be held during the year at the PiL offices in Colognola ai Colli, in the province of Verona.

The lovely Ressort Pansionat Niva in the city of Saratov, a new wellness centre and resort, is now lighted by SBP and Prisma luminaires: Globus Park, Profil, Polo and Joker. Particular attention was devoted to designing the outdoor lighting of walkways, streets along the Volga river and gardens in the hotel park.
