“Alfabeto” é uma colecção de aparelhos de iluminação que reunem o trabalho de dois designers: Danilo Premoli e Roberto Fiorato. Danilo Premoli criou um “alfabeto de luz” especial para a série de aparelhos de parede Quatrix, desenhados por Roberto Fiorato para a Performance in Lighting  (catálogo Prisma Architectural).
Com estes aparelhos foi realizada a instalação permanente “Tutto non è tutto” (Tudo não é tudo), no exterior do salão de exposições do Atelier Italiano em Milão, em Ripa di Porta Ticinese nº 73.

Os quadros superiores do grupo Spittler permanecerão lado a lado com os novos accionistas para auxiliar no plano de crescimento da empresa no âmbito do projecto europeu da Performance in Lighting.

On 5 - 6 May 2009 Performance in Lighting USA organised a product exhibition in New York City for the third consecutive year. The event was held in a spacious loft, a short distance from Lightfair headquarters. The initiative’s resounding success was also ensured by the warm, easy atmosphere of the exhibition, open 12 hours each day. Lighting designers, architects and specifiers welcomed by the American staff had the opportunity to closely study all the latest products, consulting the new Site Lighting catalogue dedicated to street lighting.

Os aparelhos PiL foram escolhidos para um novo e inovador projecto. O parque de diversões temáticas  Europa-Park,  perto de Friburgo (Alemanha), inaugurou recentemente  o BLUE FIRE -  mega montanha-russa, com uma extensão superior a 1.000 metros, atingindo 38 metros de altura. Os projectores 5Stars1000 da SBP foram os escolhidos para iluminar esta espectacular atracção. Por sua vez, os percursos pedonais circundantes são iluminados com  luminárias embutidas no chão,  tipo Cricket 25, da SBP, e também por aparelhos Clipper em postes de madeira mate, da Prisma.

The 30th Construmat; International Construction Exhibition was held in Barcelona on 20 - 25 April. Performance in Lighting was represented at the event by Frepi, our Pil distribution branch operating throughout the Spanish market, which managed and designed the exhibition stand. This year Construmat was attended by 153,000 specialist operators.

Many attractions were on show at Lumiville; a themed area dedicated to renewable energies and energy saving, a special area allowed visitors to appreciate the latest environment friendly energy saving solutions and technologies: LED fittings, plants powered by photovoltaic and wind energy, remote management and control systems, making use of natural eco-friendly lighting through architectural design, and many more. InLight Expo presented the latest trends and innovations in the field of lighting for interior commercial and public places. LumiVille and InLight Expo confirmed its role as an important event for any company interested in the French market.

Light was precisely studied to enhance every feature, ranging from the materials used in construction to architectural details. Suspended and recessed luminaires, track lighting, spotlights, projectors and the innovative 4Seasons outdoor fittings were harmoniously incorporated both on the interior and exterior of the house and around the garden to simulate the complexity, depth and charm of natural light.
