OROBIKART CIRCUIT

Located in Curno, just a few minutes from Bergamo, Orobikart Bergamo Circuit is one of the most renowned kart tracks in Lombardy. Known for its technical and fast layout, the circuit regularly hosts training sessions, official races, and recreational activities for karting enthusiasts and amateurs.

To further enhance the quality of the on-track experience, the property chose our products for a complete lighting system upgrade. The project involved the installation of a high-efficiency LED lighting system, delivered as a turnkey solution, with the goal of ensuring optimal lighting performance while reducing environmental impact.

A total of 46 Smart [PRO] 2.0 2M floodlights with asymmetric optics were installed, distributed across eight 12-meter-high lighting towers, to provide uniform illumination in compliance with regional light pollution regulations. Thanks to CSP technology and the high optical quality of the fixtures, the track now achieves an average illuminance of over 100 lux, in line with Class III of the UNI EN 12193 standard for non-professional sports facilities.

The new lighting system ensures optimal visibility, no glare, and excellent color rendering, enhancing the safety of drivers, staff, and spectators. Additionally, it delivers energy savings of over 50% compared to the previous solution, significantly reducing operating and maintenance costs.

The project carried out for Orobikart Bergamo Circuit demonstrates how technological innovation in sports lighting can improve facility performance while offering tangible benefits in terms of sustainability, efficiency, and visual comfort.
