Recently renovated through a complex redevelopment project, the Stadio di Bergamo, of which GEWISS was PARTNER FOR THE NAMING RIGHTS OF THE STADIUM FOR THE 2019-2020 / 2024-2025 SPORTS SEASONS, now stands as a symbol of technological and architectural excellence in the European sports landscape. The stadium welcomes thousands of fans from all over the world thanks to a seating capacity of 25,000 and a total area of 35,000 square meters.

GEWISS took care of the facility’s lighting design from the preliminary to the executive phase, including aiming and on-site measurements, always working in synergy with the project team and in compliance with existing architectural constraints.

GEWISS contributed to the stadium’s high-quality lighting infrastructure with its cutting-edge solutions, designed to offer maximum efficiency, visual comfort and an immersive experience for athletes and spectators. The most iconic element of the project is undoubtedly STADIUM PRO 3, the high-power LED floodlight selected for pitch illumination. Featuring T.I.R.Ex. technology, it ensures uniform light distribution and optimal performance for television broadcasting, fully complying with FIGC Serie A standards and UEFA regulations. Its robust structure and self-cleaning thermal dissipation system ensure long-lasting durability, while DALI2 or DMX-RDM control creates dynamic, high-quality lighting scenarios.

The lighting innovation extends beyond the pitch to the stadium's interior and exterior spaces. ELIA PL solutions enhance every area with uniform, glare-free lighting, improving visual comfort. SMART [3] LED luminaires, designed to withstand intensive use, provide energy efficiency and maximum reliability in technical and service areas.
