CIRCULAR ECONOMY

PERFORMANCE iN LIGHTING accepts the challenge of the 2050 climate neutrality target

There is only one planet Earth, yet by 2050 the world will be consuming as if there were three. The transition to a circular economy will reduce pressure on natural resources, create sustainable growth and jobs, and is necessary to achieve the 2050 climate neutrality target and to halt biodiversity loss.
Moving away from the linear "take-make-use-dispose" model and transitioning to a regenerative growth model is essential to keep resource consumption within planetary boundaries.
The current linear economy continually increases its demands of scarce natural resources. However, by using and consuming more circularly, we can substantially reduce the impacts of human economic activities on the environment, including on biodiversity.

We create luminaires accordingly to the environment where we produce and live: Italy.
Our Made in Italy luminaires are designed, manufactured and assembled in our Italian plants in Bergamo and Verona.
The value of our luminaires brings solutions to design out waste and pollution wherever possible, keeping resources and materials in use as long as possible.
Flexibility for future uses; indeed it's possible to change the optics, LED engine, driver, and accessories by professional users in the factory and situ.
With adequate equipment, professional users can replace LED engines to maintain equivalent performance over time.
We guarantee our photometric and colour performance on replacement LEDs over the future years.
Generally speaking, we have a spares regime that allows replacement of components over for the long run, accordingly to the new Ecodesign criteria.
Regarding the end-of-life, The luminaire can be dismantled and reassembled, and all materials used can be recycled and returned to the materials reservoir.
