Performance iN Lighting has been sponsoring since many years an International Stage for Young Musicians targeting young choristers and musicians with an age range comprising between 10 and 21 years. The stage is held at Villa Buri in Verona.
About one hundred young people coming from all over Italy and abroad will share for eleven days the experience to form an orchestra and a chorus. Starting from an original sheet music and working hard they will translate it into a new spectacle every year on.
The final play suggests important themes such as the recovery of historical and cultural roots, both in Italy and Europe, and the respect of pluralities and the dignity of mankind. Hence, during the stage, the approach of the musical composition grows through the tests of the composing parts while marking the rythms of learning. It will allow the participants and their teachers to know each other and will stimulate togetherness through the study of the sheet music, providing hints of reflexion and play.
At the end of the stage the complete opera shall be produced in the magnificent atmosphere of the villa together with the warmth of numerous spectators.
