After a successful replacement of the track lighting of the cycling track in the Sportpaleis Alkmaar in 2018, Van der Laan was approached again by Alkmaar Sport this spring. This time to make a proposal for the 400 meter ice rink of the Meent.

Never change a winning team, so a new design for the skating rink was created in collaboration with PERFORMANCE iN LIGHTING with LED floodlights from the GUELL 3 series.

By equipping the fixtures with DALI control, the track lighting can now be set to different settings for recreational, training and competition levels. In addition, the 1000 meter finish line is equipped with additional lighting for assessing the photo finish.
