Artec Studio

Artec Studio, founded by lighting designer Maurici Ginés in 1998, has been creatively focused on lighting for more than 20 years. The studio works with light, developing projects in architectural lighting design, creating light-art installations and designing luminaires through the combined synergies of offices in Barcelona, Mexico City, Madrid and New York.

Exploring the potential that shaping light can provide by creating works that interact with space, people and corporate and institutional settings while encouraging perception, knowledge and emotion that light creates is the studio’s goal.

Designs are a product of experience gained in lighting design projects and from the study of functional and emotional components of light. Merging research, technology and attention to detail, Artec Studio has developed new lighting concepts that have achieved various international awards. artec3 Studio designs luminaires for mass production and custom installations.
