The family-run design studio Büro Sommer combines passion and know-how in the field of design. Founded in 2000 by Ferdinand Sommer, after 25 years of experience in product development and engineering, 20 of which in the lighting sector, the studio saw the entry of his daughter in 2014, sparking new creative synergies.
Characterized by a design approach aimed at merging innovation and efficiency in products with essential design, with professionalism and enthusiasm, Büro Sommer develops products with minimal lines and archetypal shapes that combine aesthetics and functionality.
A rigorous design and research philosophy is the distinctive trait that has led to international recognition such as the iF Product Design Award 2019.
