SCHOOL WEESPERSLUIS

The new Brede School Weespersluis has been built in Weesp. It was designed by KOW Architects in the same style as the new Weespersluis district. The multifunctional building houses two primary schools, an after-school care facility, a location for early and pre-school education and a sports hall. 

The lighting calculation has been created by PERFORMANCE iN LIGHTING. FL600 LED panels have been used in the classrooms and both FL600 LED panels and DL ROUND downlights in the corridors. FL555 recessed luminaires have been chosen in the canteen of the sports hall and TRY LED lighting track in the sports hall itself. HEDO+ pole top luminaires have been placed in the schoolyard. 

The Brede School Weespersluis is an important facility for the district; the schoolyard is open to the neighborhood and the large sports hall can accommodate various sports associations from Weesp. A multifunctional neighborhood room has been realized in the school, with a kitchen and storage. In this way, a neighborhood facility for community and social activities has been created.

De Brede School Weespersluis was one of the first energy-neutral schools in the Netherlands at the time of realization.
