The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is the main mosque in the Emirate of Fujairah. Built on a site of 39.000 square meter it can hold around 28.000 worshippers. The courtyard of the mosque, with fountains and gardens, can hold 14.000 people.

Built in an Ottoman style it is similar in appearance to the Blue Mosque in Istanbul. This large white mosque with its 65 domes and six minarets between 80 and 100 meters high is a landmark that is visible from many locations in the centre of the city.

The minarets were light up with more than 220 professional floodlights provided by PERFORMANCE iN LIGHTING in order to enhance these main architectural elements and to ensure the highest lighting standards.
