PERFORMANCE iN LIGHTING is proud to announce that SMALL LINE, design Büro Sommer, won the prestigious Red Dot Design Award in the Product Design section 2019.
SMALL LINE was selected from over 5,500 product candidates and awarded by an international jury with years of experience and technical expertise, and which assigns this precious seal of quality only to products demonstrating design excellence.
The evaluation process is based on several criteria constantly adapted to new technical, social, economic and ecological needs. The evaluation criteria include among others: degree of innovation, functionality, formal quality, ergonomics, durability, symbolic and emotional content and ecological compatibility.
The award is organised every year by the Red Dot GmbH & Co KG, the most established independent global design organization with headquarters in Essen.
