Subtraction adds value
The primary purpose of urban lighting is to secure safety, fulfil essential functions, enhance landscape design, increase social interaction and wellbeing, and upgrade orientation. This new series makes it all possible for new or improving existing installations, delivering urban and residential lighting with a low environmental impact.
The new HEDO+, restyling of the homonymous series, is one single structure, aesthetically unique, characterised by minimalistic and pure design. The extensive use of voids subordinate HEDO+ to the environment: a crystal clear example where subtraction adds value.
Thanks to the proprietary optics set and the various lumen packages options, HEDO+ FT enables precise and excellent semi-cylindrical illumination to guarantee recognition and safety of pedestrians for all urban context foreseen by current regulations.
The series meets the needs of the cities of the future through the provision for NEMA and Zhaga Book 18 protocols, interfaces for wireless remote control systems, opening to all future developments of the Internet of Things (IoT) and connected cities. In this way, each public administration can use its management system and platforms in anticipation of further developments in smart cities.

Construction
- Die-cast aluminium housing chemically pre-treated and painted with polyester powder coating
- Painted die-cast aluminium pole-mounting joint for pole Ø 60 mm or 76 mm
- Powder polyester painting process optimised against UV rays in 13 different steps guaranteed ISO9227 against salt spray 1000 hours
- High resiliency anti-ageing silicone gasket with high elastic return capacity
- Flat, microprismatic tempered glass diffuser, screen-printed on the inner surface
- Extra-clear flat tempered glass diffuser internally screen-printed
- Stainless steel external screws
Installation
- Electrical connection with outdoor rated plug & socket quick connector (IP66) that allows connection to mains without opening the luminaire. Made in - PA66 with silver-plated brass contacts, for cables Ø 9 - Ø 12 mm
Electrical
- Integral surge protection device (SPD) against mains overvoltages up to 10 kV
- NEMA versions are complete with NEMA SOCKET connected to DALI dimmer capable drivers and a watertight short-circuit cap that allows the on-off operation of the luminaire. These versions are designed for mounting SMART-compatible solutions.
- Complete with ZHAGA socket positioned on the upper part of the luminaire (UP position) and D4i driver. Ready for "radio frequency node" smart, twilight and other compatible solutions (ZHAGA options). Consult factory for more options
