For the new Emergency NGO headquarters, TAMassociati and PERFORMANCE iN LIGHTING worked in synergy on an architectural restoration project with strong social vocation.

An abandoned former school building has been transformed into a place for interrelations, solidarity, and sharing, which includes information, education, and recreation spaces open to citizens, as well as for training volunteers, a shop, and offices reserved for coordinating the organisation.

The key element in the design of PERFORMANCE iN LIGHTING was finding the ideal lighting solution for each setting. The end result is an intelligent building, both in terms of energy consumption and social impact, where light acts in harmony with the distribution of settings to create a structure that is welcoming and functional at the same time. The choice of occupancy sensors for lighting, integrated with air conditioning systems, has allowed for optimising the efficiency and durability of the LED light fixtures, which are already highly efficient. It is a lighting design that addresses the requirements of minimalist design, in line with the general concept, where SL713 series fixtures and the SL764 continuous-line system integrate discreetly into the essence of the architectural lines.
